Namely is a Human Resource Information System that consolidates all HR and employee needs onto one platform.

The following sections explain prerequisites, resources, and instructions for integrating with SaaS Management.

Required Minimum Permissions for Namely​

Administrator-level permissions are required to generate the Personal Access Token. For more information, see Namely’s API documentation topic, Authentication.

Namely Authentication Method​

The Token Based authentication method is required.

Required Namely Credentials​

The following credentials are required:

  • Base URL

  • Personal Access Token.

Integrating Namely With SaaS Management​

Complete the following steps to integrate Namely with SaaS Management.

  1. Sign in to the Namely portal as an administrator.

  2. On the My Profile icon menu, click API. The API page opens.

  3. Click New Access Token.

  4. Enter a name for your personal access token and click Create. For further Personal Access Token details, see Namely’s Authentication Instructions.

  5. In SaaS Management, add the Namely application. For more information, see Adding an Application.

  6. Copy and paste the following Namely information into SaaS Management:

    • Namely Base URL

    • Personal Access Token

    The Namely account URL or Base URL is usually in the following format: https://<domain>.namely.com.

    Example: The Base URL for a Namely account with the assigned domain called “flexera” is https://flexera.namely.com.

  7. Click Authorize.
