Required Minimum Permissions for Fastly​

Super user privileges are required to create a personal access token with global read permission.

Fastly Authentication Method​

The Token Based authentication method is required.

Required Fastly Credentials​

  • Customer ID

  • Personal Access Token

Integrating Fastly With SaaS Management​

To integrate Fastly with SaaS Management, perform the following steps.

  1. In Fastly, obtain the following information and copy and paste the values into a file. You will later enter these values in SaaS Management.

    • Personal Access Token: To generate a personal access token, sign in to the Fastly console with super user privileges and go to Account > Personal API Tokens. Create the token with the options never expire and global read privilege.

    • Customer ID: To find the Customer ID in the Fastly console, go to Account > Company settings > Customer ID.

  2. In SaaS Management, add the Fastly application. For more information, see Adding an Application.
  3. Copy and paste the following Fastly information in SaaS Management:

    • Personal Access Token

    • Customer ID

  4. Click Authorize.
