The By License Model report page provides a high-level overview of the cloud software usage and spend by license model. The following license models are used on this page:

Reading the report​

The following values and key performance indicator (KPI) visuals are available.

All spend data is based on the date range selected from the date filters. You can also filter data by cloud vendor and cost center, as well as choose the currency for displaying spend and savings values. For more information, see Viewing the Software Insights and Spend Optimization Report.

Instances Count by Date and License ModelA bar chart that shows the historical data of instances count by date. On each date, the license counts are broken down by license models.
Instances Count by License ModelA doughnut chart that shows the instances count broken down by license models.
Instances Count by Cloud ServicesA bar chart that shows the historical data of instances count by cloud services. For each cloud service, the license counts are broken down by license models.
Software Spend by ProductA pie chart that shows the software spend broken down by product.
